The Scene Control View lists an overview of Animations, Templates, Transitions and different I/O nodes of the currently open Ventuz Scene. This gives a condensed overview of the Scene's logic and the Scene's ability to be controlled remotely. The overview can be exported as an .html file and shared with others.
The tabs on the left side switch between the Node types.
The Go-To (1) button navigates directly to the node. The control possibilities and the view differs depending on the selected node category. For the shown OSC nodes, the ports and addresses are listed. For Templates the overview includes a control for Template State and a direct link to the Template Data.
One large advantage of the Scene Control View is that you can interact with the scene from a single place. You can cue & take Templates, trigger Animations and Transitions and invoke methods on the listed categories of nodes.
To have an overview of these nodes and their configuration, the Scene Control Tab can create an .html document - the "Scene Report".
Click on the Export Button (2) to create a preview with the selected Node type. This will open the report directly in your default browser. You can save it from your browser by pressing CTRL + S.
Alternatively, clicking on the drop-down arrow beside the Export Button (2), presents you with a pop up dialogue where you can select between all or specific nodes to be shown in one report.
The report also includes Annotations attached to the nodes or attached directly to the property, depending on the category.
The Update Button (3) updates all values within the Scene Control view manually.
Similar to the Scene Report, the Project Report is an overview of your Ventuz project saved as an .html file. It shows a table of contents including things like specified Project Data, Font Presets, Scenes in the open project, and so on. These reports are generated automatically when closing a project. The Project Report can be found in your Project structure in the Documentation folder.
In the new Ventuz 8 Launcher, the Project Report is automatically displayed in the Project Browser when that Project is selected.
