Path Renderer | Takes a path and renders it on screen. |
This is a Geometry Renderer which has a Property Group to switch between different kinds of Geometries. It is also possible to extract the Property Group and make use of it inside the Content Editor.
The Path Renderer will take a path and bring it onto the screen. Click the File dialog and you can chose one of the formats to load. Right now you can either load a 2D Path, which is imported from an SVG (*.svg) or load a Ventuz 3D Path (*.vpath). If you used the Live Link to import a Path from Cinema 4D for example and the imported scene contains a Path, Ventuz will also use the Path Renderer as the Geometry Renderer.
You can adjust further options for the rendering of a Path in the Render Path Node. Place the Node in front of the Path Renderer to affect behaviors like its width.
The Tesselation Max Error increases or lowers the steps used for the path rendering, the lower the error value, the smoother the spline will be rendered.
