ToonDynamicSpecular

ToonDynamicSpecular This node creates toon or cel shading.

The ToonDynamicSpecular shader produces materials similar to the CheapShiny shader but of higher quality. It also can be used to create toon- or cel-shading.


This shader as well needs a texture that specifies the look of the resulting material. The default texture creates a toon-shading. This gradient texture consists of a transition from white to black in four steps. Using different transitions gives you a variety of materials. The ToonDynamicSpecular shader requires a Light node because its shading is dependent on the light direction.
If a texture is used in combination with the toon shader, its color edges are blurred due to texture filtering. Change the Mag Filter property of the Texture node to Point if you need sharp color edges.
