Ventuz opens the door to limitless creativity. More than just a media server, VENTUZ is an interactivity and megapixel display powerhouse for bringing to life your live, data driven motion graphics, all rendered in real-time.
Pro AV, or professional audio/video is a collective term for most audiovisual projects and events produced for corporate and entertainment markets. From rock concert to keynote presentation, theater production to fashion show, Pro AV runs the gamut of requirements in terms of technology, capabilities and innovation.
Often showcasing their clients as forward, technology and design savvy entities, the shows regularly feature groundbreaking or stunningly complex setups and infrastructures, new, often cutting edge technologies, and demanding timelines and schedules. Whether setting up a concert in torrential rain or facing a last minute re-scheduling of an interactive projection mapped keynote, the only constant seems to be that a lot of pixels need to be brought to life with absolute precision in conditions that are often unpredictable and less than ideal.
.
Especially given the exposure these high-profile projects can garner, the demands for cutting edge capabilities and the constant pushing of the envelope is a constant. Simultaneously, they leave zero room for compromise in terms of reliability and quality. With the stakes and pressure always running close to the breaking point, and the show conditions inevitably bearing unexpected and often unpleasant surprises, the systems need to be reliable and flexible to the highest degree.
New technologies and capabilities need to be able to be incorporated without breaking the mold, of course. Changes need to be possible right up to the last second before, or even during, the show. The system cannot, of course, stand on its own, but must play nicely with lighting, camera and audio systems, be able to handle all shapes, sizes and formats of video and audio media, have accurate timing control and of course be able to handle countless screens and projectors seamlessly in perfect sync. If this reads like your wishlist – then Ventuz is perfect for your project.
Ventuz provides the perfect blend of answers to all of these requirements. It is a realtime rendering system, allowing for instant changes, live data capabilities, perfect timing control and native interactivity. Because of its open and flexible structure, it plays nicely will outside systems, from the industry standards to jerry-rigged one-offs, glued together with shoelaces and duct tape. We know what life is like out there – the polished, effortless presentation is more often than not the result of a lot of sweat and last minute creativity, and Ventuz is built to support that.
The Ventuz package exists precisely to deal with the unexpected, the complex and the unique. But more than that, it also is there to push the envelope of what is possible. Massive resolutions across many screens, setups with adventurous technologies, new and exciting forms of interaction or control – no matter what, the Ventuz package will offer a solution, and often many different ones. But all this is pointless without an absolute bedrock foundation of reliability and precision, which Ventuz has proven again and again over many years and countless shows.
ProAV, or professional Audio/Video is a generic moniker for most of the audiovisual projects produced for the corporate and entertainment markets. Massive hi-resolution graphics, multiple large size displays and projections, accurate timing control and integration with light and sound gear are common requirements of these workflows.
Ventuz render engine is designed specifically to work with multi-display/multi-projection layouts and to cope with these massive resolutions. Besides cluster configurations combining a number of Ventuz Runtimes running in sync scale up with your project displays and resolution needs. Live events require an accurate show control, a driver seat to control all the graphic engines outputting to various displays with ease and in total sync, that´s Ventuz Director task. A single Director seat controls various Ventuz Runtimes, each one rendering a different display, or combined as a cluster configuration for a large display or videowall.
Another usual requirement of modern AV is Projection mapping, and Ventuz includes a handful of tools designed for it, from the Cinema4D Live Link to extended 3D file formats support, all of this combined with the advanced mesh warping and color correction toolset in Ventuz Output Configuration application.
In real life projects it is often needed to integrate 3 rd party keynote style applications with more advanced graphics, like Ventuz. That´s when Ventuz open architecture comes into play, Ventuz supports various options to stream remote systems screen, like Newtek NDI protocol, and map your keynote interface into your Ventuz graphics.
Furthermore, the recent introduction of the Interactive Rectangle tool, allows to send back control commands to your remote keynote system, creating a streamlined and sophisticated workflows for these projects, Light equipment is also integrated by the bidirectional support of the most common lighting protocols, like DMX, Art-NET and sACN.
