Madrid uses interactive Ventuz installations to promote their hosting the 2020 Olympic Games.
While the Olympic Games in London keep the city busy and buzzing, some places already hint at the games to come. The Spanish House in London features two interactive presentations that give an insight into the 2020 Olympic Games pitch by the city of Madrid. Our customer Pictures That Move created these installations using Ventuz.
The main presentation is a 270° interactive projection controlled by RadarTouch. It shows the many recreational and cultural highlights Madrid has to offer. The second application is a touch terminal at which one can navigate through 39 Olympic disciplines and their designated venues in Madrid, locating them in a dynamic interface created in 3D.
The projects can be updated quickly and easily through a data base system. The installations were inaugurated by Her Majesty Queen Sofía of Spain on July 2nd. After the London Olympics, the project will be set up in the Madrid 2020 venue in Spain.
