Audiences love to participate. At many live events, producers make an effort to create ways in which visitors can get active, leave valuable information and take the excitement home with them. Multilot AS, a lottery technology and concepts company, has chosen Chimera Prime as its technology partner to develop a solution that can be easily implemented into many different live event setups while offering easy and reliable ways for audiences to take part in the action. The product is called Pix2Win.
Pix2Win is a combination of social media search database, dynamic graphics rendering and flexible video playout. Fans can engage by taking selfies and sending them to social media using predefined hashtags. The Pix2Win harvesting tool scans the social media platforms for the hashtag and gathers all relevant images. These are then implemented into one of a selection of graphic scenarios and displayed on the big screen. Additionally, a drawing can be conducted and audience members can win prizes.
Chimera Prime chose Ventuz for this project because of its flexibility and reliability. Since every location has unique screen setups, resolutions and display technologies, Ventuz offers the necessary toolset to quickly update playout to the requirements at hand. Also, the real-time nature of Ventuz allows Chimera Prime to easily adapt the graphical content to every customer’s needs.
Pix2Win has already been in use at large sports events, among them the polish handball league game Orlen Wisła Płock vs Vive Tauron Kielce (13.03.2016) and the international ice hockey game Sweden vs Russia (21.04.2016).
