United 3D Labs develops multitouch installation for the booth of LUKOIL at the Moscow International Automobile Salon 2012.
LUKOIL, a leading, vertically-integrated oil & gas company and one of the largest corporations in Russia, hired our newly acquired customer United 3D Labs to create a high-end interactive project for their booth at MIAS2012 in Moscow. The installation, which was displayed on a multitouch table in a prominent position on the booth, combined motion graphics, 3D-animation, video clips, and text in an intuitive interface.
Users had the possibility to flick through virtual magazines, richly illustrated with high-quality images, and to get to know the company through press-releases and feature articles. The main topics were environmental policies, industrial safety, social and sports projects, and the major milestones of the year 2011.
Additionally, visitors could draw pictures or type letters and send these via email to LUKOIL. For recreation, an air-hokey game could be played with up to six participants.
